The TSV Sound and Vision team was proud to work with the St. Louis Women's March this past weekend. The client had heard about our previous A/V services for other non-profit organizations in the area and reached out to us to see how we could help provide event A/V for the march that was expected to host around 10,000 people.

About The Event

The event was set to take place at Luther Ely Smith Park, located just in front of the Gateway Arch. The park has beautiful rolling hills, tree-lined pathways, and common areas, but did not have the audio or power infrastructure needed for the sound system setup. We made sure to arrive at the park early in the morning before attendees to set up power handling equipment as well as audio towers to transform the park into a suitable gathering place for almost 10,000 people.

What We Provided

The organization's main concern was making sure that all march attendees could hear the politicians, guest speakers, religious leaders, poets and musicians clearly during the 3-hour long march and rally. By using JBL VRX line array speaker systems, powered by Crown Audio amplification, we were able to provide clear sound within Luther Ely Smith Park in downtown St. Louis. Having originally planned to utilize small wireless speakers and megaphones for the event, the client was absolutely thrilled with our sound system capabilities within the park. Thanks to the sound system we provided, attendees were able to enjoy the event's programming throughout the park.

By handling all of the technical and logistical aspects of this event, including necessary permitting for generators and parking, TSV allowed our client to dedicate their time and efforts directly to the program details associated with their event, rather than on the technical details. After the crowd of thousands had dissipated, the TSV crew loaded out, and Luther Ely Smith park looked just as it did before we arrived. From setup to teardown, the TSV nonprofit event production crew worked hard to make the event a success.
